My absolute favourite foundation!

I am EXTREMELY pale, and have never yet found a foundation in shops that matches my skin tone or gives me a nice, natural yet matte look. For example, most foundations in Ivory look more like Tangerine on me. I have tried so many brands, but then I heard about Lily Lolo mineral foundation. It's a powdered mineral foundation that you can build up layers of to create your own coverage. They have a huge range of shades and tones to suit every skin tone. I brought 3 samples to start with, and decided I needed the lightest shade - Porcelain.

I cannot express enough my love for this foundation. A full size pot costs £12.49, however, if you don't wear a lot it may be worth buying sample pots, as the big pot shouldn't be kept longer than 12 months, and the sample has lasted me almost 2 months for just £1.29. Although the Lily Lolo Super Kabuki brush looks amazing, it also costs £15, so I just apply it with a big, cheap bronzer brush from Superdrug. The colour is absolutely PERFECT. I hate the way liquid foundation looks, I prefer it to look like I'm not wearing foundation at all and just have perfect skin. Lily Lolo foundation does just this. It doesn't sink into my large pores, but doesn't just sit on the skin like if you used a regular powder. It looks completely natural but completely flawless on. You can apply layer after layer after layer and it always never looks cakey or fake. However, my skin is completely clear of spots etc, so I'm not sure how it would look on someone with acne for instance, but considering the amount you can put on I'm sure it would be fine (feel free to let me know your experiences?)

The foundation lasts a very long time too, although not all day. My T zone is very oily, but this foundation lasts a fair few hours before needing a quick reapplication. But what's 15 seconds for perfect looking skin? Lily Lolo do some "finishing powders" that can help with this, which I am yet to try out!

Overall, an amazing foundaation if you prefer to look completely naturally flawless, and have problems finding foundations for your skin.
